Supporting our students to own their futures and live and prosper in society
Welcome
I am delighted to welcome you to our school community and to introduce you to the work we do here at Applefields in York. Applefields is a specialist school for young people with a wide range of learning needs, and everything we do is driven by a simple belief: every pupil is unique, valued and capable of achieving great things.
Our staff are dedicated, skilled and caring professionals who work in close partnership with families, carers and a range of external agencies. Together, we create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where pupils can develop their communication, independence, confidence and life skills, as well as make strong academic progress that is right for them.
