Applefields, in conjunction with Askham Bryan College and The City of York Council opened the ‘Minster Provision’ in 2018. It is a facility that caters for young people aged 19+ who have exceptional additional needs that would have been a barrier to inclusion in some Post 19 provisions.
The provision has its own space at the heart of the Askham Bryan Campus and students access a rich diet of activities including off site experiences, preparation for adult life and work placements where appropriate.
